Eyescape Miscegenation, 19.5x25 mixed media- My pride and joy. I've put in just about all of my heart into this work. Every emotion, my happiness and tears, seriousness and goofiness, frustration and dreams all come together here. If my heart has ever felt "bare" for everyone to see, this would be it. Best way to describe it would be to have someone read through your personal journal and feeling exposed. I've worked on this for 6 straight days, and approximately 30 hours. This is as close to as I've ever gotten to finishing a painting. Wonder what I could do if I ever do finish a piece of my work?

Note: I've just scanned in this piece section by section to replace the previous image taken with a digital camera. Please forgive me for the discolorization of the edges of each section, I tried to fit everything the best I could.

Wow this is really amazing! (wee first to comment i hope)
anyways, the color balance, use of texture, posing, and over all style show that you really knew what you were doing. This is really one of the most original pieces i've seen submitted in quite a while. Your commitment really paid off. Instant +fav and please keep up the good work.

the detail and color you've put into here really pays off. I wish you had uploaded a larger version so you could see all the detail better. The monkey seems a little out of place because its so obvious where everything else is blended in.. but hey, its a monkey. you can never go wrong with those =)

wtf? I commented on this piece...I remember i was number four. Now its entirely not there. wtf. thats gay...this piece is soo awesome. The colors, medium, contrast...beautiful. Anywho, +fav cause it didnt work before...
